This was a commissioned piece that is a black and white stippled illustration in pen & ink. I am currently working on a whole series of dogs. Gordon Setters, German Shorthairs, Labs, Weimeriners (sp?), etc. I am currently taking requests for dog breeds! The eventual goal is to have signed and numbered prints available after each drawing is completed.

I created this illo this last fall when I was painting in photoshop! I think I was successful! When I saw the subject, I couldn't stop thinking about how vast and WIDE the universe is -- and how beautiful!! This image is actually a re-create from my published children's book: Talking About Jesus published by AriSon Records out of Nashville!

Hi there! When I saw the topic, I was originally thinking about the city lights in buildings. But, the more I thought and the more I talked with Jeremy, I decided on the little lightening bug!! Living in Colorado, I had never seen one until I moved to Nebraska for college! It was quite an experience for me to be driving on I-80 and see them buzzing around the side of the road!

For Illustration Friday this week, I decided to pay homage to one of our goldfish! I really like the fancy tail goldfish and am looking into adding a 50 gallon tank in the living room!

This illo took a little longer than I expected. I guess it was because there is more detail!

This is my entry for Pet Peeves! When I was kid, we had a cats. Invariably, the cats would take a stroll across the piano keys at about 2am! It always used to wake us up and drive me crazy! Enjoy!
