This piece was inspired by a book that Scholastic published long ago -- "Small Pig." In the story, the pig decides to leave the farm and spends a short time in a swamp! Anyway, the story made a profound impression on me, so I decided to make my own little rendition!!

IF: Pale; African Book Sketches

These are some sketches that I am planning on using for my next project -- a wordless book whose story takes place on the savannah in Africa! Keep checking back to watch my progress as I illustrate 6 story spreads throughout the book! Upon finishing the spreads, I will be mocking up the book idea into a "dummy." Upon finishing this, it will be ready to go to a publisher for possible publication!
