Oh my goodness!! I had no idea this would come out of my hands!! I started this piece coming off
of spring break. Kiddo went back to school and the house was all quite again! Amazing things happen when I'm left to myself!
I had no idea this would piece would be this involved when I started. Truth is I visualized santa jumping, or crawling down the chimney. The bag of goodies his back was very non-descript and a hazy cloud in my mind! I was also planning on starting this one a little closer to Christmas, given the material, but then I thought that I have the time now! So, I decided to seize the day!
As I started working, the piece just started opening up to me and living and breathing. It was showing me all the wonderful things that I love about it!
